im back to home after 4 days
After dad discharged from hosp..dropped them in mvp at my aunt house and arranged money for treatment for next 1 month and bought medicines. All four days i am in hospital. After dinner reached in-law house as later day have to start to chennai. Already train tickets were booked for chennai mail in tatkal. I will meet dad and catch the train at 2pm. I will be in chennai by 24th jan morning.
Dad discharged from hosp
Dad discharged from hosp on 22nd jan at 5pm. The function of hospital administration is not satisfactory. They took around 5hrs to finalize bill and prepare discharge summary. There are typos in the summary and it is very short. There is no proper process and trianed staff causes communication problems. However liason officer..Sai prasad.. did thorough follow up on insurance stuff. There are so many faults in the hosp administration. I suggested few in feedback. I think there is so much much commercial business in claiming insurances. For insurance patient all charges are relatively high. All docs also like that. It seems they will have target on income on monthly basis. Every thing is with MONEY. Think about poor man...god change this system...thanks to my medical insurance company for co-payment of 35k. For me it s 8.5k. I think medical insurance is must for family in the current life style.

Today final billing will be ready by discharge time likely at around 3pm. No dialysis today. It is always better to carry photo id. Since dad did not carried any id the insurance process begin after receiving his id a scanned copy sent by cousin from bvrt yesterday. Dad also has to change his life style. He need some physical activity and some change in routine to avoid sleep in day time. Also he should follow doc instructoins about food and smoking. Educated him about his health condition and consequences.. still i have doubt whether he is realized. Let s see...
